An exclusive digipak CD of previously unreleased Striknien DC tracks, located on a long lost cassette, digitised by Pete Holidai and mastered by Joe Wearen.
“These tracks were recorded over Mulligans The Roxy on Hill St in 1994 at our rehearsal space by Nigel O’Connor Watson, and Sammy Nevin, who ran cables and mics into our rehearsal room, and the line up was Donnchada Grant Gtr, Pete Townsend Bass, Beano Hero Drums, Steven Shannon Gtr2 and Deklan Dachau Vox, and they were recorded as we were writing the album that Sonic Studios wiped before it was finished by accident? Anyway these have never been heard and though they’re as rough as a badger’s hole, theydo offer an insight into the greyness of those early 90’s days before the boom!~ They are the sound of strife and struggle with society, poverty and bigotry from a dying scene, just prior to the Green Day explosion and the internet! These are the days that were! Ugly, Angry, Violent! You Wanna Come Closer?”
